OpenXSwitch uses a flexible dual-billing model designed to support projects from early development through enterprise scale:
  1. Monthly Subscriptions: Predictable monthly plans with included wallet limits and transfer allowances. Best for startups and steady operations.

Wallet Usage & Metering Model

OpenXSwitch tracks wallet utilization based on provisioned wallets (wallets created, regardless of whether they are active or idle) to ensure fair resource allocation.

How Wallet Provisioning Works

  • Creation-Based Metering: OpenXSwitch charges based on wallets created within your workspace—we do not bill based on monthly active wallet status.
  • Multi-Chain Address Allocation Example:
    • EVM chains share a single unified address.
    • Solana and Bitcoin issue distinct single-chain addresses.
    • User Capacity Calculation: If your application provisions 1 EVM address, 1 Solana address, and 1 Bitcoin address per user (3 total wallet addresses), the 2,500 wallet allowance in the Basic Plan allows you to fully serve ~833 active end-users across all three ecosystems without overage.
  • Fixed Wallet Package Guarantee: Clients on a One-Time Setup Package incur no wallet overage fees; your provisioned wallets remain valid within your purchased capacity threshold.

How Volume Overages Work

  • Transfer volume is calculated based on the total USD-equivalent value of outgoing on-chain transfers and withdrawals across all supported networks.
  • The Basic Plan includes $100,000 in outgoing volume each month. Outgoing transfer volume exceeding $100,000 is billed at an overage rate of 0.20%.

One-Time Setup Packages

For organizations that prefer no monthly commitments or need large upfront wallet provisioning without monthly subscription overhead, OpenXSwitch offers pre-packaged usage plans:
  • Flexible Wallet Pricing: Bulk wallet provisioning starting at $0.50 per wallet.
  • No Monthly Commitment: One-time package purchases include access to all platform features, unlimited API calls, auto-sweep workflows, stock token access, and swap APIs without requiring a monthly recurring plan fee.

Enterprise Bulk Example

A fintech platform migrating to OpenXSwitch can fulfill a 10,000-wallet requirement with zero recurring monthly subscription fees. By purchasing an Enterprise One-Time Setup Package for $5,000 ($0.50/wallet), they unlock full infrastructure access for all 10,000 wallets without ongoing maintenance or overage charges.
